Phantom Protocol was born out of a stark realization: the Internet you use is fundamentally compromised. With every message you send on traditional platforms, algorithms analyze, categorize, and monetize your thoughts. We set out to build a communication layer that is utterly indifferent to who you are, what you say, or where you live.
The Engineering Philosophy
We do not believe in "trust us" security. We believe in "we couldn't see your data even if we wanted to" security. By decentralizing the flow of media through WebRTC and offloading key generation to the local client's WebCrypto API, we have intentionally impoverished our own servers of any useful intelligence.
